What would it look like for us to be completely open to God, whatever that may mean?

What would it cost us to fully abandon ourselves to His will, no matter what He asked? 

It is an incredibly overwhelming and humbling thought to think about the fact that the God who knows every star, by name, in every universe both known and unknown; searches the depth, width, and length of the entirety of the created earth looking for the one who is completely, and unwaveringly willing.

And oh, the joy and favor of when He finds that one whose heart truly beats wildly with passion for Him.

There’s nothing He can’t do with that person.

There’s nothing He can’t and won’t accomplish for His Kingdom with that one.

Idolatry is the greatest enemy to humanity.

It’s the giant that must fall and the mountain that must be moved.

It is the one who comes to the end of self that is awakened to not just the beginnings of God, but to intimacy with God, the anointing of God, and to the fullness of the divine purposes of God.

It is the one who would willingly, courageously, and gratefully cling to their cross and die to self. It is the one who is willing to abandon all whims, wants, and wishes that will come fully alive in the inner man, realizing the power, passion, and peace that can only truly come from Him.

The God of all possibility waits for the willing.

The God of all power searches for the one who will wait on Him.

The God who is immediately present is looking for us.

There is nothing that will ever compare when our hearts are fully aligned with His.
