SCRIPTURES:

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

DEVOTIONAL:

Unforgiveness feels like power - until you realize it’s a prison. It keeps the

offense alive and your soul dry. Paul’s command is not soft: put away bitterness, wrath, anger… and be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving as God forgave you. That last line is the standard: as God forgave you.

Forgiveness doesn’t call evil good. It calls Jesus King. It says, “You won’t control me anymore.” If you want spiritual breakthrough, this is one of the most common locked

doors: bitterness. Today, let the Holy Spirit lead you into freedom.

QUESTIONS:

1. Who am I still making pay for what they did?
2. What would forgiving “from the heart” look like?
3. Do I need to have a hard conversation - or release it in prayer?

PRAYER:

Father, I release them. I don’t excuse sin, but I refuse bitterness. Heal me.
Make me free. Amen.

FASTING FOCUS:

Fast rehearsing the offense. When it comes up, pray blessing instead.
