LEAD PASTORS

Brita, along with her husband Aaron, and their two boys Grey and Smith, have been at Declaration church since 2019.  Brita serves on several teams at Declaration, but above all, her passion is to use her skills to help people find their purpose and begin to walk in that on a daily basis.

Daniel has been a part of Declaration since November 2020 and in ministry since 2008 and has a degree in Live Entertainment Technology. He and his wife, Melody, and their two boys Weston and Lawson love seeing and getting to be a part of what God is doing through Declaration and in the community.

Aaron and his wife, Brita, have two boys, Grey and Smith. He says that his life has been given to pursuing the Presence of God in His life, and helping others do the same. Acts 4:13 sums up his pursuit: "When they observed the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and recognized that they had been with Jesus.” Aaron loves anything outdoors, but especially golf, hunting, and fishing. His best day is laughing with his family! He also really enjoys writing biography’s about himself in the third person.

Jordan has 7+ years of staff experience serving as a youth pastor and worship leader for multiple churches in Spring, Texas. He is motivated to equip students to find their God-given purpose and help them navigate their life challenges through faith in the Gospel. Outside of work, Jordan can be found outdoors longboarding with the dog or watching movies with his wife, Lauren and their kids.

Travis, along with his beautiful wife Gloria and their two girls Selah and Mercy, have been at Declaration church since 2019. Travis has been involved in our children's ministry all the way to our young adults.

He loves investing his time in people and bringing joy to people's lives. Many have said that he carries a child's heart in a short man's body as he has no problem interacting with people of all ages. On top of ministry Travis loves spending time with his friends, playing any type of game, and anything that spells out adventure.

Sharon has been working and serving in Kids and Youth Ministries for over 30 years both in the US and Internationally. She and her husband Shawn have been married for 10 years. Shortly after they were married they moved overseas to share the Gospel. After returning to the States their passion for missions, discipleship, and prayer continues. 

As Kids Pastor, Sharon desires to come alongside families, equipping both parents and children as they become disciples who make disciples.

Lesleigh has served as a worship leader for more than 20 years in various churches and ministries, including leading with Pastor John for Camp 220. She and her husband, Zac, along with their two kids, Callen and Tillie, have served for many years as a part of the 220 family. Now, they serve alongside each other here at Declaration. She is passionate about hosting the presence of the Lord in worship and developing new generations of worship leaders to help people encounter His presence.

Megan, along with her husband Kevin and their three daughters, Peyton, Brooke, and Jenna have been a part of the Declaration family since 2016. As a former special education employee in CISD, she is certified in behavioral therapy and has a deep passion for children’s ministry, including those with special needs. She enjoys time with her family, making connections and building authentic relationships, serving in the church and has a heart for worship.

Shannon has been a part of Declaration since May 2018. She loves Jesus, books, trees, people, the beach, her husband Paul, and their two boys Nathan and Daniel with wild enthusiasm. Her life verse is Proverbs 13:2 - "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is. a tree of life." When you see her, be sure to ask her about her obsession with trees!

Caroline has been part of the Declaration family since 2017 along with her husband James and their three children: Sidney, Eli, and Nathan.  

She loves books, plants, spending time with her family, and planning events. Caroline serves leading several of our Sunday morning Serve Teams, as well as, the Events Team. She enjoys equipping people to grow in areas they love serving in!

Melody has been in the creative world for 20+ years from photography, videography, web, and graphic design, and in ministry with the Declaration family since 2021. She is humbled to serve alongside her husband Daniel with their two boys. Her passion is to communicate and create while making things beautifully eye-catching with attention to detail for His glory.

Joe has been a part of ministry at Declaration Church since 2020. Prior to that he worked in the Oil & Gas industry for 18 years. He and his wife Emily and their three kids Avery, Austin and Aryn started attending Declaration Church in 2016 and they quickly felt at home. They love the Declaration community and are excited to see what work God is doing through this church in our neighborhoods and throughout the world in the coming years.
